Cape County Collector updates tax sale list
Cape Girardeau County Collector Diane Diebold has released a list of properties that will be sold at the county's tax sale on Aug. 27. Properties listed are those for which taxes have not been paid for the two prior tax years -- 2010 and 2011. Cape Girardeau County Collector Diane Diebold has released a list of properties that will be sold at the county's tax sale Aug. 27. Properties listed are those for which taxes have not been paid for the two previous tax years, 2010 and 2011. Property owners still have time to pay the delinquent taxes and retain the property before the sale. The sale will take place at 10 a.m. Aug. 27 at the Cape Girardeau County Administration Building in Jackson.
