Kara Clark-Summers, who as Cape Girardeau County clerk normally supervises elections of all races the county, went into labor Tuesday. But election supervisor Joey Keys, who handled the duties for Summers on election day, said she had yet to deliver her baby at press time.
Keys said Summers was faring well and had corresponded with county employees throughout the day.
