An all-youth horse show, sponsored by the Cape Girardeau County 4-H Council, will be held July 19 at the Danny Gilder Arena on Route Z in Gordonville. An all-youth horse show, sponsored by the Cape Girardeau County 4-H Council, will be held July 19 at the Danny Gilder Arena on Route Z in Gordonville.

A variety of classes for stock horses, gaited horses and ponies will be held. The show is open to all horse owners under 18, regardless of 4-H membership. Admission is free and the public is invited.

The show begins at 1 p.m. A trail class will be held from 2-4 p.m. outside the arena with a separate judge. Novice classes are for riders 9 and under, or for riders 10-12 whose first year of showing was 1991 or 1992. Appropriate western dress is required.

The entry free is $2 per class. Ribbons will be given in each class. Five, high-point trophies will be awarded to the best all-around riders.
