Cape Air's St. Louis hub will offer a free interterminal shuttle that drives Cape Air passengers between all terminals at Lambert -- St. Louis International Airport without security rescreening beginning today.
Connections to Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, Delta Air Lines and all other airlines will no longer require additional security screenings since passengers will remain within the TSA-secured area at all times.
Lambert -- St. Louis Intl. Airport Inter-Terminal Shuttle Locations are: Concourse A, Gate A17; Concourses B and D, Gate D8; and Terminal 2 (Southwest Airlines), Gate E29. Cape Air's gate at St. Louis is D8. Cape Air passengers may call for a terminal transfer by using a designated wall-mounted courtesy phone in each concourse or by calling 314-222-5322. A shuttle will then be dispatched to pick up the passenger who has landed via Cape Air or who is to depart on a Cape Air flight.
Cape Air's ridership at St. Louis has surpassed 70,000 passengers in the year ending November 2011. Ridership is up 96 percent compared with the year ending November 2010. Cape Air's flights at St. Louis operate with American Airlines code-share for itineraries connecting with other American Airlines flights.
