COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -- Congressional candidate Bob Onder has a way to share media coverage with his four opponents in the 9th District Republican primary -- he prints his own newspaper.

The Onder Times is an eight-page color insert being distributed inside newspapers throughout the 25-county district, including the Columbia Daily Tribune's Wednesday editions.

The mock paper comes on the heels of The Blaine Banner, a four-page campaign newspaper distributed by Republican Blaine Luetkemeyer earlier this month.

Onder's mock paper features "articles" about his stances on immigration, abortion, gas prices and other issues.

The paper is labeled as a paid advertisement but includes letters to the editor, an editorial endorsement and other trappings of actual newspapers.

The ad also includes an article praising outgoing 9th District Representative Kenny Hulshof, who is running for governor.
