WHAT'S THE BIGGEST NEED YOU HOPE TO ADDRESS IF ELECTED?

Our community is financially solvent, I have been Mayor Protem for 2 years working closely with the mayor, council and all departments. Maintaining a community with a mind to grow and appealing to residents and businesses would bring us more families and jobs. Our sewer and water infrastructure is old and needs work, the EPA is pressuring us to spend $2.5-3 mil on things that would not improve our services to the people, we must work through this and get what's best for our people. We have a new road connecting to North SC, we need to encourage development for the residents and new businesses. A walk way from the school under the interstate also needs to be built for the safty of our students. We need to continue to encourage MODoT to place a new interchange north of PP, so it would be an asset to the community.

WHY ARE YOU THE BEST CANDIDATE?

I have lived and raised my family here for the past 19 years. It is not how long you live somewhere that makes a difference but, what you do while you live there. I have been a pastor and friend to the community. With help from others I have obtained grants and funding to take care of people through the food pantry and benevolences. I have served as chaplain for the PD and FD dealing with people in most difficult times. I know the heart of the community and I care for them all. The late Councilman Walter Peetz when he nominated me as mayor pro tem said in part, "you are a leader and do nothing out of self interest, you do what is in the best interest of the people". I want to continue to make that difference to the glory of God and for all the people
