WHAT'S THE BIGGEST NEED YOU HOPE TO ADDRESS IF ELECTED?
I hope to continue to work with local industries and businesses to help them grow in the future which in turn would create more jobs for our citizens and their families so they can stay here if they so desire. I would also like to see us continue the Downtown Revitalization that we recently started. There is a lot of history that people cherish around the downtown square that repairing some of the old buildings brings back as well as the plus of new businesses and some extra jobs. Its starting to look better already and should really blossom over the next several years. We also need to keep working hard with the Industrial Developement Authority and Chamber of Commerce to continue looking to bring in as many more new business opportunities as possible to build our economic base. We need to continue upgrading our parks to enhance their use.
WHY ARE YOU THE BEST CANDIDATE?
I will continue to work hard to keep Perryville moving ahead in the future by working with everyone possible to gain solid new growth. I dont like higher taxes any more than anyone else. I have always believed that it is vital to maintain and improve our infrastructure to extend its life and capacities for many additional years without having to build new ones at a much higher cost to us all. I have always believed honesty and openness is the best policy and will continue to do so. I have always fought to keep fees and cost as low as possible remembering those on fixed incomes and young families and the harsh impact the higher cost burdens their lives. I have done this the past 20 years and will continue to do so in the future. THANK YOU!
