WHAT'S THE BIGGEST NEED YOU HOPE TO ADDRESS IF ELECTED?
Schools are faced with many "needs" and I wish to continue to support our administrators and teachers in their endeavors to inspire and educate our students with the means they need to reach these goals. I hope to see our District continue to maintain and improve our accredited status in the Missouri mandatory educational requirements programs. I would like to encourage parents and community members to get involved and promote school spirit and support for our teachers and students. I would also like to see our application approved for the new Safe Room be accepted and completed. This would be a tremendous enhancement to the school district and keep our children and citizens safe when needed. It will also create additional classrooms.
WHY ARE YOU THE BEST CANDIDATE?
I think I am the best candidate not only because I have 2 terms of experience, but because I want to be a school board member, my passion to be involved in our community and our schools, and my dedication to that commitment. I believe my open mind and fairness to any obstacles that arise and my support and guidance to our administrators is part of the success of our school system. I believe my goal as a school board member is to help make the best decisions academically and financially along with extra-curricular activities that best benefit all of our students with their success during school and after graduation.
