WHAT ARE YOUR PRIORITIES FOR THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE?

Law enforcement was, is and always will be the cornerstone of this attorney general's office. In addition to prosecuting more than 60 homicides, my office has created a task force on domestic violence, launched an accessibility initiative to protect the rights of disabled citizens and worked to ensure that no Missourians fall victim to fraud.

I will continue to stand up to powerful interests when they have stepped over the line and injured Missourians. We obtained nearly $200 million for Missouri in the national mortgage settlement, convicted those responsible for scamming consumers on extended auto warranties, stopped con artists from taking advantage of Joplin tornado victims, and I was the first AG to criminally charge a corporation for fraudulently signing mortgage documents. I also took the Corps of Engineers to the US Supreme Court to defend Bird's Point levee.
