Cancer prevention study set for Sikeston

The American Cancer Society is conducting a study to help determine possible causes and preventions of cancer. The Cancer Prevention Study-3 wants area men and women between the ages of 30 and 65 who have been diagnosed with cancer to participate.

Enrollment will be from 2 to 6:30 p.m. May 9 at YMCA of Southeast Missouri, 511 Taylor St., Sikeston, Mo.

The study will help researchers better understand the lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors.
