PHOENIX -- The headquarters for a national business journalism professional association is moving from the University of Missouri School of Journalism to Arizona State University.
The Society of American Business Editors and Writers, known as SABEW, will make the move to ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in downtown Phoenix later this year.
Cronkite School Dean Christopher Callahan said on Tuesday that SABEW's executive director and two support positions will move to the school.
ASU has been revamping its curriculum to focus on digital reporting, beefing up its faculty with news industry veterans and adding programs in recent years. It moved into new facilities in November. SABEW plans to hold its annual conference there next year.
SABEW has about 3,300 members.
