The "burglar" someone reported at a Cape Girardeau business Sunday was just trying to drop off paperwork, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.

A neighbor called police Sunday afternoon to report someone using a tool to manipulate a lock at Comfort Care, 1858 Broadway, Cape Girardeau police spokesman Darin Hickey said Monday.

On Tuesday, Leslie Sadler of Comfort Care said the person with the tool actually was a client dropping off paperwork at the home-care business.

"It was just a misunderstanding," she said.
