WASHINGTON -- President Bush will travel to Jefferson City, Mo., on Tuesday for a brief visit to discuss the Medicare prescription drug benefit, White House press secretary Scott McClellan said Friday.
The president will speak at the Heisinger Bluffs senior living center in Jefferson City.
Bush's appearance will be the third high level visit from the White House to Missouri in a week.
On Monday, Vice President Dick Cheney is holding a fund-raiser for Republican Sen. Jim Talent in Springfield, Mo.
Talent plans to appear with the president on Tuesday, but a spokesman described the event as "nonpolitical."
