Budget before Cape Girardeau School Board today

The budget tops the agenda at tonight's Cape Girardeau School Board meeting.

Board members are expected to approve the Cape Girardeau School District's 2011-2112 budget and a budget amendment.

The board also is scheduled to take up construction bid packages for districtwide access control and video management systems, part of the district's $40 million facilities renovation project.

A work session is scheduled for 5 p.m., and the regular board meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Central Administration Office, 301 N. Clark Ave.
