Country music returns to the Show Me Center Oct. 8 when Brooks & Dunn, Aaron Tippin and Radney Foster kick off Family Weekend at Southeast Missouri State University.

The show will begin at 8 p.m. All tickets are $20 and will go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Headliners Brooks & Dunn squeezed four number one hits from their debut album, "Brand New Man." They include the title cut, "My Next Broken Heart," "Neon Moon" and "Boot Scootin' Boogie."

Brooks & Dunn were named the Academy of Country Music's Top Vocal Duet and Top New Vocal Duet in 1991.

Their second album, "Hard Workin' Man," has yielded hits from the title song and the recent "We'll Burn That Bridge."

Brooks & Dunn are veteran honky-tonkers who decided to give their audience punched-up versions of country songs.

They have appeared on "Hee Haw," "Nashville Now," "Hot Country Nights," "Crook and Chase" and "On Stage," and they've shared bills with Alabama, Hank Williams Jr., George Strait and Alan Jackson, and have toured extensively with Reba McEntire.

Aaron Tippin's current single is "Working Man's Ph.D," a time off his third album.

Radney Foster came onto the country scene about a year ago, and his first hit was "Just Call Me Lonesome." His current single is "Easier Said Than Done."

Tickets are available at the Show Me Center Box Office, Capital Bank main branch locations at Jackson, Sikeston, Perryville and Poplar Bluff, Schnucks in Cape Girardeau, Disc Jockey Records in Cape Girardeau, Paducah and Carbondale, and at the University Center.

To charge by phone, call 651-5000.
