The Broadway Corridor Project seen Oct. 25, 2012 features a promenade sidewalk. Finished improvements include a new street surface with decorative enhancements, new lighting and landscaping. Final improvements will include benches, trash cans and bicycle racks.

The two-lane, two-way thoroughfare offers parking on both sides and congestion worsens as number of cars increases.
