Downtown Cape clock stopped, being fixed

The clock on Main Street at Themis Street isn't working, and Old Town Cape is working with the Downtown Redevelopment Corporation to get it fixed, said Marla Mills, executive director of Old Town Cape. The clock, a four-sided timekeeper in the middle of the intersection, was working properly when it was reset for the end of daylight saving time, Mills said Friday. The malfunction is an apparent power problem, she said. "We are not sure how long it has been out," Mills said. "We are aware and are working on it." Mills did not have an estimate for how long it would take to restore the clock to operation.
