Bridge work near Chaffee, Mo., goes on

Construction continues Thursday, July 7, 2011, to replace the Route EE bridge over Little River Drainage Ditch No. 11 in Scott County, west of Chaffee, Mo. The roadway will remain closed from Route 25 to Route 77 during construction. Completion is anticipated in early August. The bridge is one of three bridges on Route EE that are scheduled to be replaced through the MoDOT Safe and Sound Bridge Improvement Program. The other bridges are over Ditch No. 14 in Cape Girardeau County and Ditch No. 1 in Scott County. The three Route EE projects are expected to be completed by late October.
