U.S. Sen. Christopher S. Bond announced that a Listening Post Forum will be held on May 4 at his Listening Post in Perryville, Marble Hill and Jackson.
Tom Schulte, his district office director, will be available to constituents, he said.
"These special forums give area residents the chance to meet with members of my staff and discuss problems and opinions," said Bond. "My staff and I can act as a guide through the governmental maze. I have an office specifically devoted to giving one-on-one help to Missourians in the past through our Missouri Listening Post, and I plan to continue this good record."
The forums will be held in Perryville at Hoeckele's Bakery, 4 N. Jackson, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; Marble Hill at Kamp's law office, 338 High Street, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.; and Jackson at the Chamber of Commerce, 125 E. Main, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Anyone having a problem with a federal agency or needing someone to listen to a concern or opinion, should call or write the Southeast Missouri district office at 339 Broadway, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63701. The phone number is (314) 334-7044.
