JACKSON - Jackson Board of Education Member Jeanette Bollinger became the third candidate to file for one of the two seats that will be filled in April.

Bollinger, who was elected in April 1991 to complete the one-year, unexpired term of former board member Nancy Schaefer, filed for re-election Wednesday.

Bollinger said she wants to serve a full, three-year term on the board.

"I feel my one year on the board has acquainted me with the workings of the board and the duties of a board member," she said. "I want to use the knowledge I have gained during the past year to make sure we continue to provide the best possible educational opportunities for the students in the Jackson School system."

She continued: "I feel we have a high quality educational system, and it is my desire to see that it remains as such as our district faces some challenging financial problems in the future."
