__How should Bollinger County prioritize how county roads are maintained?:__
Unfortunately, due to recent conditions and lack of maintenance, prioritization is now necessary. I would ask the citizens to bear with me as I work with the Road & Bridge Dept to get roads back into good condition. I want to work together with local business people to contract rock hauling and grading/dozing services to aid the department. This will effectively speed up the work that needs done, while providing work for local constituents.
__In what ways would you be willing to join with neighboring counties to work toward regional economic development to bring jobs and infrastructure to the area?:__
I am willing to meet with other counties to learn what works for them, what doesn't and how we can implement positive growth changes. I am always willing to listen to constituents that have ideas to create positive change. I will attend regional planning meetings, industrial development meetings, etc to find ways to grow Bollinger County. I do not believe this is a one day a week job.
__How can tourism be developed into a revenue-producing industry in Bollinger County?:__
I would be willing to help promote tourism in our county, but I realize and ask the citizens to realize, that major improvements need to be done to our county infrastructure to help attract visitors. One improvement that would bring in visitors would be a clean, modernized motel or Bed & Breakfast. I would be willing to work with any local business person seeking to establish such a business.
__In your opinion, what can you bring to the table to improve Bollinger County?:__
Hard work, a listening ear, a determination to see change, and a desire to see Bollinger County grow.
