__How should Bollinger County prioritize how county roads are maintained?:__
I feel the most heavily traveled roads and roads where our churches are located should take first priority. However, all tax paying citizens deserve decent roads and every road needs to be graded on a rotation basis. I feel our grader operators could benefit from additional training. I would like to see our hills chatted and check into hauling gravel from nearby creeks instead of hauling from a longer distance as they do now.
__In what ways would you be willing to join with neighboring counties to work toward regional economic development to bring jobs and infrastructure to the area?:__
I am willing to work with other counties as long as it brings benefits to the people of Bollinger County. If it would provide jobs to our people and revenue to our county, I would definitely consider the opportunity.
__How can tourism be developed into a revenue-producing industry in Bollinger County?:__
Bollinger County is a beautiful area with our hills, streams and friendly people. Our recreational parks and campgrounds provide affordable places for families to spend quality time together. We have great places to eat and beautiful scenery as you travel our roadways. Our Dinosaur Museum and Museum of Natural History are unique to our area. These are local tourist attractions that need to be promoted through social networks as well as other avenues.
__In your opinion, what can you bring to the table to improve Bollinger County?:__
Growing up in Bollinger County in a family owned Sand and Gravel business, I have hands on experience with operating heavy equipment. Having served as Presiding Commissioner in the past and being in leadership roles throughout my career, I feel I am capable of serving our County in a proven and professional manner. I look forward to the opportunity.
