MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- A 50-year old Marble Hill man suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday at 6:20 a.m. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Robert W. Deets was driving a 1997 Mercury when he lost control on wet pavement, ran off the road and struck a ditch on Highway 51, one mile south of Marble Hill.

Deets was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was wearing a seat belt.
