MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- A Bollinger County man jailed on 22 sex-related counts following alleged incidents with three young boys over the last four years has a new court date in Scott County court.
Bollinger County sheriff's deputies arrested 50-year-old Tory Bowns in August and charged him with nine counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, five counts of child molestation and one count of attempted statutory sodomy. Seven additional charges were filed in September.
In early August, a parent of a 12-year-old boy filed a complaint that Bowns was molesting her child and his 10-year-old friend. Bowns also allegedly molested a third boy. The incidents allegedly occurred at Bowns' house at different times. He pleaded not guilty and was granted a change of venue to Scott County. A new hearing date in Benton is now set for Jan. 20 for a plea or trial setting before judge Scott Horman.
