An inmate from Southeast Correctional Center walked off a work detail Tuesday afternoon in Bollinger County.
Bollinger County sheriff’s deputies were searching for David Michale Woodward as of Tuesday afternoon. Woodward, 29, of Arnold, Missouri, was working with the Missouri Department of Transportation detail near Bollinger County Road 708 and walked away at 1:17 p.m., according to Bollinger County sheriff’s deputies.
When last seen, Woodward was wearing an orange vest, white shirt, gray paints and black boots. Woodward was serving a seven-year sentence for burglary.
He was convicted in Jefferson County in August 2006 but was put on probation twice before being incarcerated in 2011 after a forgery charge. Deputies do not consider Woodward dangerous.
