Bollinger County Commission met at 8 a.m. Jan. 16 with the following officers and members present: Leo Arnzen, presiding commissioner; Tim Shelby and Chad Hulvey, associate commissioners; and Brittany Howard, county clerk.
- The commission reviewed minutes from the Jan. 8 commission meeting and the minutes were approved.
- Brad Gregg with the Road and Bridge Department met with the commission to discuss problems with the county roads.
- Sheriff Casey Graham met with the commission to discuss general county business.
- James Peters met with the commission to discuss County Road 520.
- Kelsey Barlow with Family Heritage met with the commission to discuss supplemental insurance.
- After reviewing grader options, Hulvey made a motion to purchase a 2003 Deere 770C II grader for $83,000 and a 2006 Deere 670D grader for $90,295. A vote was taken, all were in favor and the motion carried.
- After some discussion, Arnzen asked for a motion to approve the 2023 budget. A vote was taken, all were in favor and the motion carried.
- The commission adjourned until 8 a.m. Jan. 22; however, the commission did not meet that day due to inclement weather.

- Coroner Calvin Troxell met with the commission to discuss the coroner's budget.
- Bollinger County Library director Eva Dunn met with the commission to present the 2023 annual library report.
