PIGGOTT, Ark. -- The Clay County Sheriff's Department recovered the body of a Bootheel man missing for several days at about 10 a.m. Wednesday. Charles Dickens of Campbell, Mo., had been missing since Sunday after a boat he and three others were fishing in capsized in the flood-swollen waters of the St. Francis River near Brown's Ferry. According to Clay County Sheriff Gerald McClung, deputies were trolling the river by boat when Dickens' body was found, about 1.5 miles south of the St. Francis River bridge near Kennett, Mo.
around 12 miles from where the boating accident took place.
