The Bollinger County Commission has approved the 2024 budget for the general revenue fund, road and bridge department, and assessment fund.
The general revenue fund in 2023 received $3,120,937.23, plus $866,315.70 carried over from 2022, and spent $2,677,945.40.
Estimated revenue for 2024 is $2,489,345. Expenditures are estimated to be $3,346,120.52.
At the end of December 2024, after other net resources are included, the general revenue fund is estimated to end with a cash balance of $9,540.18.
The road and bridge fund in 2023 had revenue of $1,480,706.23, plus $125,549.23 from the 2022 budget. The fund spent $1,967,330.
Estimated income for 2024 is expected to be $1,977,568.31; expenditures may come to $1,967,330. At the end of the year, after other net resources are included, the fund is expected to have a balance of $10,238,31 to carry over to the next year.
The assessment fund in 2023 had an income of $226,404.91, with $246,520.49 in expenditures.
Estimated 2024 revenue comes to $233,622.53, plus a carryover of $12,393.27 from 2023. Expenditures are expected to be $253,450.80. Cash available at the end of December is estimated to be $32,193.37.
