Cape Girardeau County 1st District Commissioner Larry Bock of Gordonville, Mo., received the University of Missouri Presidential Award for his support of the school's Extension service.

Bock was honored recently in Columbia during the University of Missouri's Alumni Alliance Legislative Day ceremonies.

Bock, a member of the University of Missouri county outreach and extension council, chaired the building committee for a new extension center in Cape Girardeau County. The new center in Jackson, Mo., was completed in October.
