Terms of the sale were not disclosed, but Vinton said Tuesday that the offer "was simply too good to pass up."

Vinton, 66, will perform through Dec. 14 at his theater, fulfilling his season schedule in the southwest Missouri resort town. Then he will shift to venues in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, although he may perform limited engagements in Branson.
