BOATING CLASS TO BE HELD

EAST CAPE GIRARDEAU, Ill. -- The East Cape Girardeau Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 81 will hold a boating skills and seamanship course in the East Cape Community Building Thursday at 7 p.m.

The course consists of seven session to be held every Thursday. The fee for the course is $20 and will cover instruction and materials.

The course is open to the public and is designed for those who participate any kind of recreational boating, including fishing from a boat. It is intended to give the boater knowledge of safety procedures that can save lives and property.
