ADVANCE, Mo. - A 75-year-old Bloomfield woman died today after the vehicle her husband was driving ran off the roadway and overturned in an icy ditch.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that at 5:50 a.m. Billy D. Lee, 76, was driving a 2008 Ford on Highway 25, 3 miles north of Advance. The Ford then veered off the roadway and overturned in the water-filled ditch.

Lee and his wife, Helen C. Lee, were then taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center. Helen Lee was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Billy Lee sustained moderate injuries.
