Old-time cowboy gunfights and bank robberies will be featured at the fourth annual Western Days Saturday and Sunday at Black Forest Villages.

Western Days is a return to the Old West, when cowboys and saloon gals walked the streets. Hours for the show at the town of New Hanover are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Shotgun weddings and horse thief "hangings" will also take place. In addition, several craftsmen will be demonstrating old-time skills and selling their wares.

Bluegrass music will be provided by the Coyote Creek Band.

Food and drinks will be available. Admission is $2 per person, with children under 12 free. Parking is free.

Black Forest Villages are located four miles north of Cape Girardeau on County Road 638. From Highway 61 in Cape, follow Rt. W to the stop sign, turn right and watch for signs. For more information, call (573) 335-0899.
