CARBONDALE -- The Black Crowes will bring their brand of soulful rock 'n' roll to the SIU Arena Sunday for a 7 p.m. concert.
The Black Crowes' first album, Shake Your Money Maker," sold more than five million copies and received a Grammy nomination.
The band's newest album, "The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion," coincides with their first headlining tour.
Tickets are $20 for general admission and reserved seats. The SIU Arena will be transformed into a 4,400-set theater-type setting for the concert. For information or tickets, phone (618) 453-5341.
Says vocalist Chris Robinson: "The Crowes are going to create their own vibe, from the way the stage looks to the way the gig smells. It's going to smell like rock 'n' roll!"
