Representatives of Birthright centers from across Missouri will meet this weekend in Cape Girardeau for the annual meeting Friday and Saturday.
Terry Weaver, head of all Birthrights in the United States, will be the keynote speaker at 2 p.m. Saturday. In addition to the national director, the top Missouri Birthright consultant also will be on hand for the meeting.
Dolores Mier, director of Birthright in Cape Girardeau, said about 120 people are expected to attend, representing the 25 Birthright centers in Missouri.
The event will be held at Drury Suites and Inns in Fruitland.
"This is probably the largest meeting of this type we've had," Mier said.
This is the first time the Cape Girardeau chapter is hosting the annual meeting.
The theme is "Share the Good News" and as part of the meeting participants will share good news about things happening in their centers, with clients or in their personal lives.
