Volunteer bird watchers in the Cape Girardeau area can lend a helping hand to the Missouri Department of Conservation June 15-16, during a two-day bird survey.
The bird surveys are part of the Breeding Bird Atlas Project, a seven-year state-wide study to determine the distribution and abundance of breeding birds in Missouri.
Anyone wanting to help with the survey should contact Bill Reeves, (314)-756-4160 during the evening.
