Almost 300 bicyclists from 25 states will participate in Cycle Across Missouri Parks '99 next Sunday. The riders will begin a 400-mile ride through Southeast Missouri that lasts one week.
The tour will begin and end in Ste. Genevieve. In addition to visiting the Felix Valle House State Historic Site, other overnight stops on the loop route include St. Joe State Park, Fort Davidson State Historic Site, Sam A.Baker State Park, Lake Wappapello State Park, Bollinger Mill State Park and Trail of Tears State Park.
For the first time this year, friends and families of the riders can follow the ride's progress on the World Wide Web. Photographs and highlights of each day's ride will be posted at

The itinerary includes:
Sunday, June 20: Depart Ste. Genevieve High School at 8 a.m.; arrive 11 a.m.at St. Joe Park in Park Hills.
June 21: Depart 7:30 a.m. from St. Joe Park; arrive 2 p.m. at Fort Davidson State Historic Site in Pilot Knob.
June 22: Depart 7:30 a.m. Ford Davidson; arrive noon at Sam A. Baker State Park near Patterson.
June 23: Depart 7:30 a.m. from Sam A. Baker State Park; arrive 1 p.m. at Lake Wappapello State Park near Williamsville.
June 24: Depart 7:30 a.m. from Lake Wappepello State Park; arrive 3 p.m. Bollinger Mill at Burfordville.
June 25: Depart 7:30 a.m. from Bollinger Mill; arrive noon at Trail of Tears State Park near Jackson.
June 26: Depart 7 a.m. from Trail of Tears State Park; arrive 1 p.m.Felix Valle House in Ste. Genevieve.
