The SEMO Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Friday at a Cape Girardeau apartment and found large amounts of seven controlled substances.
Brandon K. Donner, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested and has been charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.
Officers forced entry into the apartment at 701 Broadway about 1 p.m. Friday and found Donner in the apartment alone, according to a probable-cause statement filed by SEMO Drug Task Force officer Mike Alford. Officers found a large plastic bag of marijuana in the closet of the bedroom, Alford wrote. Alford asked Donner whether he would tell them about all the illegal items in the residence.
“You will find what you find,” Donner told Alford, according to the report.
Officers broke open a safe after Donner refused to provide the combination, according to the statement.
In the subsequent search, these items were found, according to the statement:
Alford noted Donner had several digital scales.
There were several other pills and powders unidentified in the report. Alford wrote those substances will be analyzed in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crime laboratory.
