Bids for Highway 34 work in Bollinger County rejected
SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission rejected bids for the contract to improve Highway 34 in Bollinger County on Thursday. SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission rejected bids for the contract to improve Highway 34 in Bollinger County on Thursday. Bids received for the project were higher than anticipated. The project includes grading and paving from west of County Road 500 to east of Route ZZ near Marble Hill, Mo., and from west of Route ZZ to east of Highway 51 near Marble Hill. Additionally, the project includes installation of a box culvert.
