BERNIE MAN DIES IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

BERNIE -- A Bernie man was killed Wednesday night when his Jeep left the road and overturned.

Robert Norman, 39, was thrown from the vehicle at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Route U 5 miles west of Bernie when his 1997 Jeep left the road and rolled numerous times. He was declared dead at Dexter Hospital, police said.

The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. Norman was the only passenger in the vehicle.
