BENTON -- Patrick Hulshof of Benton has been selected to receive the Kenneth Ray Heath Memorial Scholarship, the Wurdack Scholarship and the Richard McIntosh Memorial Scholarship.
To be eligible to receive each of these scholarships, the candidate must be enrolled in the agriculture department at the University of Missouri.
The Kenneth Ray Heath Scholarship was established in 1983 in memory of Heath, a farmer from Mississippi County. The Richard McIntosh Memorial Scholarship was established in a similar manner in 1986.
In addition, Hulschof was awarded the Sam Stuckey Scholarship, established in memory of Sam Stuckey, a scorekeeper for the Hawks for many years.
Hulshof has been active in basketball, baseball, FFA, SADD, Pep Club and band.
He is the son of Vince and Romana Hulshof of Benton.
