JACKSON -- Construction is under way for Bent Creek On The Green, a condominium development by Bent Creek Developers.
Situated on a 4.5 acres between the 10th and 18th fairways of the Bent Creek Golf Club, "Bent Creek on the Green will offer a unique style of living to people in Southeast Missouri," said Mike Litzelfelner, who announced the project last week.
"Whether you enjoy playing golf or not, the atmosphere allows you to relax and enjoy the good life while overlooking the lavish greens and fairways of Bent Creek Golf Course," he said.
"The first building will be located near the clubhouse," said Litzelfelner. "It will contain four living units two single level, two-bedroom units and two units with a two-story design.
Developers offer three floor plan options and two designs Augusta, a one-level, two-bedroom structure, and the Spyglass, a three-bedroom, two-story condominium.
"Standard building features include basements, decks and patios and two-car garages," said Litzelfelner. "Some of the amenities include special playing privileges to Bent Creek Golf Course, landscape maintenance, in-ground irrigation, concrete streets, city underground utilities, and police and fire protection.
The buildings will have plenty of space, said Litzelfelner.
The Spyglass design offers 1,669 square feet spread over two levels. Included in the floor plan is a first-level living room of 19-x-18-foot proportions with cathedral ceilings reaching to the second floor.
Other first-floor features include a kitchen, breakfast bar and dining room, bath, and bedroom.
The second level features two large bedrooms, two full baths and a walk-in closet. The master bedroom is 16.4 by 17 feet.
"We also offer a variation on the Spyglass design," said Litzelfelner. "It's the Oakmont, which consists of 1,703 square feet in two stories and offers some options on the interior floor plan."
The single level Augusta has 1,306 square feet and includes two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining room, and two baths.
"These buildings emphasize luxury features," said Litzelfelner. "They have handsome masonry exterior finishes with maintenance-free siding, automatic garage door openings, central air and energy-saving gas forced-air heating."
Rob Litzelfelner is building the condominiums, which will provide 26 units in seven buildings.
Standard pricing available through September will be $98,000 for the Augusta design and $118,800 for the Spyglass design.
