CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A benefit fund has been set up for the Cape Girardeau couple whose two daughters were killed and whose home was destroyed in a fire Friday.

The fund for James and Frances Probst has been established at Southeast Missouri Bank.

James Probst, who was injured in the fire, remains in critical condition at Barnes Medical Center burn unit in St. Louis.

Donations will be used to pay medical bills and to help purchase household items.

Contributions may be made in care of Beverly Pulliam at Southeast Missouri Bank, 111 South Broadview, Cape Girardeau.
