HORNERSVILLE -- Wicker's barbecue sauce will be included in the Smithsonian's "Folk Life Festival" this summer.
The festival in Washington, D.C., began Friday and runs through Monday and will run again Thursday through July 7.
As part of the festival, bottles of Wicker's original marinade and baste will be on display and sold in the Smithsonian's gift shop.
Wicker's is a vinegar-based sauce pioneered and developed by Peck Wicker of Hornersville in the 1940s.
