Bank of Missouri breaks ground for Jackson branch

The Bank of Missouri officially broke ground June 21, for their new Jackson facility. Construction will soon begin on a 5,200 sqare foot building at 233 W. Jackson Blvd.

"We are very excited about this full-service bank and anxious to give Jackson a real community bank," said John M. Thompson. Thompson, vice president, has been managing the bank's loan production office in Jackson for the past two years. He will serve as manager of the Jackson facility.

The Bank of Missouri, based in Perryville, has been serving Southeast Missouri as an independent community bank for nearly 109 years. They have two full-service facilities in Perryville and one in Cape Girardeau.
