CHARLESTON -- The 1994 Southeast Missouri Band Association Marching Contest will be held Saturday at Charleston.
Beginning at 9 a.m., approximately 30 bands will participate in a parade competition.
The John Harris Marshal Athletic Complex will the the site for the field show competion at 1:15 p.m., with about 20 bands competing.
An award presentation for the outstanding marching bands in each category will be held at 3:15 and 5:15 p.m. Admission to the field show competition is $1.50.
Bands include: Advance, Bell City, bloomfield, Chaffee, Delta, Oran, Oak Ridge, Caruthersville, Clarkton, Greenville, Hayti, East Prairie, Puxico, Perryville, Ste. Genevieve, Valle of Ste. Genevieve, Pacific, Richland, New Madrid, Bernie, Charleston, Portageville, North Pemiscot, Twin Rivers, Fulton County, Ky., and Clay County, Ark.
