Two backyard playhouses were awarded June 27 during a drawing at West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau. The houses were awarded as a fund-raising project for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
David Hammond, 6, of Cape Girardeau won the "Country Charmer" playhouse. The playhouse was built and donated by Flentge Builders, Tom Flentge Painting and Wall Covering, Perryville Doors and More, and Robinson Displays, all of Perryville.
Hammond's name was drawn by Charles Mitchell, son of Leroy and Trudy Mitchell of Perryville. He was granted a six-day trip to Disney World with his family.
Cheryl Hiberternst of Cape Girardeau won "The Garden Cottage," built and donated by Rocky Schumer Construction and Guyot Lumber of Perryville.
Her name was drawn by Nathan Wibbenmeyer, son of Gary and Sue Wibbenmeyer of Cape Girardeau. He has been granted a trip to the Daytona 500 with his family.
