Floral designers from Arrangements by Joyce, 100 S. Sprigg, recently attended design and educational seminars.

Jeanne Friedrich, assistant store manager and FTD senior designer, and Jan Karraker attended the "Everyday Design" workshop held at AFS Educational Center in Oklahoma City, where they attended seminars on flower design mechanics and techniques of daily flower shop design.

Joyce Kuntze, FTD master designer and owner of Arrangements by Joyce, has attended three seminars recently at St. Louis and Oklahoma City. She attended an "Interior Style" seminar sponsored by FTD; a "Fundamentals of Design" seminar at AFS Education Center in Oklahoma City; and a "Managing People for Improved Results" workshop at St. Louis. Attendance at the latter workshop qualified Kuntze for a FTD master manager certificate.

The awards recognize the firm's commitment to customer satisfaction and sales performance.

Capetown RV has been in business since 1980 and has been a Fleetwood dealer for 12 years.

Fleetwood Enterprises Inc., headquartered at Riverside, Calif., manufactures recreational vehicles. Fleetwood, a Fortune 500 company, produced more than 54,000 RVs in fiscal year 1992.

Two Cape Girardeau physicians, Dr. Allen Spitler and Dr. C.R. Talbert, will receive the Physicians Recognition award

The award, presented by the Missouri State Medical Association and the American Medical Association, is given to physicians who voluntarily complete 140 credit hours of continuing medical education courses over a three-year period.

Purpose of the award is to recognize physicians who keep up to date in their medical specialties and add to their medical knowledge.

Sunny Hill Gardens & Florist, 206 N. Kingshighway, has received a sales award from Ferti-lome.

Paul D. Schnare of Sunny Hill received a plaque for his firm, which was top sales dealer for Ferti-lome in the St. Louis market area.

Cindy Ross of Benton has been certified as an independent skin-care and image consultant for BeautiControl Cosmetics Inc. of Dallas.

Ross has been trained to offer BeautiControl's Total Image Solution, which includes complimentary services like skin condition analysis, color analysis and makeup-fashion personality analysis.

BeautiControl has more than 30,000 skin-care and image consultants in the U.S. and Canada. The firm reported sales in excess of $58 million for fiscal 1991.

Jamey B. Dockins has passed examinations of the National Conference of Funeral Services, the Missouri Funeral Directors and the Missouri Embalmers, and is licensed to practice funeral directing and embalming.

Dockins, a 1991 graduate of the Mid-America College of Funeral Services in Jeffersonville, Ind., is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Dockins, co-owners of McCombs Funeral Home at Jackson.

Robert R. Forsythe was recently inducted into the United Parcel Service's Missouri District Circle of Honor program, which recognizes drivers who have attained 25 years or more of accident-free driving.

Forsythe works out of the UPS facility at Cape Girardeau. He and his wife, Bettie, reside in Scott City.

Forsythe was honored during a special awards banquet at Sheraton Plaza in St. Louis.

Dr. William Catt has been appointed to the Missouri State Chiropractic Legislative Committee, which keeps tabs on changes in state regulations.

Catt, of Catt Chiropractic Center, 608 W. Main in Jackson, also serves as chairman of the Ways and Means C ommittee, which plans educational seminars of the Missouri State Chiropractors Association for doctors' annual license renewals.

Catt also recently attended an educational seminar, where he earned 12 hours of continuing education credit.

The seminar was sponsored by the association. Discussions were held on nutritional content of foods, diagnostic examination and laboratory findings.
