CHARLESTON, Mo. -- An autopsy will be performed on an inmate who died Friday.
The Missouri Department of Corrections reported Monday that Scott Moss, an inmate at the Southeast Correctional Center at Charleston, was pronounced dead at 12:39 p.m. Friday at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.
Moss, 46, was serving a seven-year sentence for second-degree burglary from Wayne County. He was an inmate in the Missouri Department of Corrections since Dec. 8, 2009, according to prison records.
