AUTO TIRE OPENS ULLIN STORE

ULLIN, Ill. -- Auto Tire and Parts has opened a store in Ullin.

"We are excited to add another store in the Southern Illinois area," said Greg Stroup, president of the Cape Girardeau-based firm. "Our Ullin store will increase our Illinois presence from Chester and Anna to the Ullin, Tamms and Mounds communities."

Auto Tire and Parts stocks a large inventory of automotive, agricultural and truck parts, along with a complete line of Dupont automotive paint products. Store inventories are restocked twice daily from the company's 100,000-square-foot warehouse in Cape Girardeau.

"The new location offers access to one of the largest automotive and heavy duty machine shops in the area," said Mike Himmelberg, general manager. "Because we pick up and deliver on a daily basis, our Ullin customers can have their engines and drive shafts rebuilt in Cape Girardeau and have them delivered the next day."

John Stanley, an Anna native, will manage the Ullin store. He said he is proud to bring the experience and expertise of Auto Tire and Parts to Ullin and the surrounding communities.

Auto Tire and Parts was recently honored by Automotive Marketing magazine as one of the top 100 auto parts businesses in the country.

"We are proud to serve over 20, tri-state communities and to continue to grow to better serve our customers," said Stroup.
